OHCE to celebrate OHCE week, May 2-8

Oklahoma Home and Community Educators will be celebrating OHCE Week May 2-8, 2021. Comanche Homemakers OHCE was organized in January 1955 and was first known as a Home Demonstration Club, then as an Extension Club and now as Oklahoma Home and Community Educators. Since our beginning, we have been helping our community.

This year Comanche Homemakers OHCE chose to continue supplying the Comanche Fire and Police Department with bottled water and snacks. Also, the residents of the Meridian Nursing Home will receive cards and snacks on holidays. Our newest project is providing the Comanche Blessing Box with canned foods, diapers, shampoo, toothpaste—all the necessities. Comanche Homemakers OHCE also supports the Comanche Elementary School, Christian Helping Hands and the Toy Shop. Our members have found all the projects to be very fulfilling.
