County Health Department now accepting walk-ins for COVID-19 vaccines

June 15, 2021

The Stephens County Health Department now accepts walk-ins for COVID-19 vaccines Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. - 4 pm. Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available to the public at no cost. Pfizer is authorized for adults as well as minors age 12 and up. A parent or guardian must consent for anyone under age 18. Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are both authorized for adults age 18 and up.
“The Oklahoma Standard is the model by which Oklahomans live their lives in response to the needs of their neighbors, fellow citizens, and communities,” said Mendy Spohn, Oklahoma State Department of Health Regional Administrative Director. “Getting the vaccine is a meaningful way to take care of our neighbors, just like we would in the case of a tornado or flood.”

Appointments are available for those who would like to reserve a specific appointment time. Call the 211 hotline to schedule by phone, or book online at vaccinate.ok.gov by completing the COVID-19 Questionnaire.
Vaccines can also be offered by a strike team or mobile unit on-site at businesses, organizations, community events, and for homebound individuals. Call the Stephens County Health Department at 580-252-0270 for more information.
