Florence K. Cowan

Florence K. Cowan, 75, of Comanche, passed away Friday, Sept.11, 2020 at St Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Funeral services were Sept. 16, 2020 at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dean & Freda Hall officiating, interment will follow at the Duncan Cemetery and arrangements have been entrusted to the family care of Carter-Smart Funeral Directors.

Kay was born Dec. 25, 1944 in Decatur, Texas to Cecil & Delois “Webb” McDaniel. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Kay married Carl Cowen Feb. 8, 1964 in Henrietta, Texas and to this union were born two children, Tony and Carla.

Kay is survived by her husband, Carl of the home; a son, Tony Cowan of Jacksboro, Texas; a daughter, Carla Warren and her husband Robert of Comanche; a sister, Jeanetta Carpenter of Chico, Texas; and 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
