Melton Lee "Doc" Null

Melton Lee “Doc” Null, age 90, a resident of Newark, TX peacefully passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at his home. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 11th at 1:00 p.m. at the pavilion at Fairlawn Cemetery.

Doc was born July 28, 1931, in Comanche, to Wadie Lee and Earl (Robeson) Null. He attended Comanche Public Schools. He loved fishing, gardening, and meeting friends at the truck stop to drink coffee every morning. He loved his family dearly, and he also had many friends. He and Dorotha Joan Farmer were united in marriage on December 6, 1959, in Wichita Falls, TX.

He is survived by his wife, Joan; his two daughters: Sheila Hull of Springtown, TX; and Sonja Ratliff, Newark, TX; his grandchildren: Sarah Hull, David Hull II, Bailey Ratliff, Brandi Lott, and Jennifer Young; and ten great-grandchildren.

Doc was preceded in death by his parents, Wadie and Edna; two brothers, three sisters, and one grandchild.
