Local election results

The U.S. Presidential race may not be quite settled, but several local races were last night if the unofficial counts are verified.

In Oklahoma Senate District 43 overall, Jessica Garvin (R) defeated Terri Reimer (D), 30,343 (82.2%) to 6,582 (17.8%). In Stephens County, Garvin was a 11,822 (83.4%) to 2,360 (16.6%) winner.

Todd Churchman (R) beat Lonnie Estes (I) for Stephens County District 2 Commissioner by a 4,329 (65.8%) to 2,252 (34.2%) vote.

Incumbent Oklahoma District 65 Rep. Toni Hasenbeck defeated Jennifer Kerstetter, 5,847 (79.1%) to 2.598 (20.9%).
