Christmas parade slated for Saturday

The Comanche Christmas Parade is Saturday, Dec. 5 at 7p.m.

The Chamber of Commerce highly suggests facemasks and social distancing. Parade-goers are asked to not arrive to set up chairs along Main Street until 6 p.m.

The parade will also be broadcast on 107.5FM to allow people to stay in their vehicles if they would like. Businesses that will be open on Main Street have been provided with hospital-grade cleaner for sanitation.

Registration begins at 6 p.m. at Pioneer for individuals wanting to enter the parade. Registration for floats and any other entries will begin at 5 p.m. at the Comanche High School gym parking lot.

Judging for floats is at 6 p.m. sharp in the high school parking lot.

There will no parking in the high school gym lot. All this area is needed for floats and parade entries to be lined up for the parade. Parking is available in the grass across the street, the middle school lot, and the Field of Dreams.
