Jimmy 'Keith' Bandy

Keith Bandy was born Feb. 22,1954 in Comanche to William “Bill” Bandy and Wilma “Joyce” (Daugherty) Bandy. He entered his heavenly home Friday, March 22, 2024 in Meridian surrounded by his family. He was 70 years old. A memorial service will be held April 4, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church in Meridian with pastor Dee Bowen officiating.

Keith was a 1972 graduate of Comanche High School. He played basketball and baseball, and was a part of many other organizations as well. He attended Southeastern State University where he studied art. In April of 1995 he married Amy Chisum in Fort Worth, Texas.

He was a carpenter for over 40 years. He built and remodeled many homes and projects for people in the surrounding areas over the years. Working along side many great people along the way. He loved riding motorcycles, drawing, reading and helping anyone who needed it without thinking twice.

 He is survived by his life companion Amy Bandy of Comanche. His two sons: Shy Bandy and wife Tanna of Velma, and Billy Bandy and Haley Turner of Marlow. Two nephews: Kris and wife Jana Hinsley of Comanche, and Bubba and wife Jennifer Hinsley of Comanche. His grandchildren: Memphis Smith, Kye Bandy, Navy Bandy all of Velma. And Stetson Bandy of Marlow. As well as many friends.

He is proceeded in death by his parents: Bill and Joyce Bandy. And his Sister Sue Wooten and brother-in-law Allen Wooten.
