Track competes at Pauls Valley

The Comanche track teams traveled to Pauls Valley for the Jack Hays Invitational on March 29.

Several Comanche athletes scored at the meet.

On the girls’ side, Brilee Combs took third place in the 800 meters with a time of 2:43.31. The team finished in 11th place with six points.

On the boys’ side, Makisig Rogers scored in the 110-meter hurdles (16.58 seconds) and the 300-meter hurdles (46.90) to lead Comanche in scoring by placing third and fifth, respectively.

The Indians also picked up some points in the high jump with a fifth place finish by Corbin Bowen and sixth place finish by Rylan White. Both cleared 5-6.

The Indians finished ninth with 17 points.

The team traveled to Purcell on Tuesday.
