May 19, 2023

Sue Cain, a beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandma and friend, joined the love of her life in heaven on May 16, 2023 at 83 years young. Sue lived in the Loco/Comanche area most of her life but passed away peacefully in her sleep at her second home in Union City.

Sue is the daughter of GR and Mary Kiser, born in Waurika on Oct. 20, 1939.

Sue met Charles Carey Cain and never left his side. Even after Charles passed, Sue carried him with her each day. They were married on December 19, 1958. Sue and Charles had three kids and she loved her kids with every ounce of her being. But if you knew her, she may have loved those son-in-laws even more.

After Charles was gone, Sue had so much grief that her daughter Julie gifted her a puppy. A little long haired, short nosed puppy that made Sue’s whole world start to turn again. Sissy became Sue’s best little travel buddy. Sue enjoyed making trips to see her daughter Frankie in Union City, with Sissy by her side, they put many miles on the road together listening to Elvis.

Throughout Sue’s life she enjoyed keeping up with Charlie Cain’s daily antics. She loved out fishing and out shooting all the men in her life and then turning around and making it into a gourmet feast.

She enjoyed being around her loved ones, her dog Sissy, Elvis, talking politics and religion with son-in-law Tony and a bowl of ice cream with chocolate syrup.

But of all of Sue’s favorite things… her grandchildren and great grandchildren were on the top of the list. She loved being Grandma Sue more than anything in the world.

She was the light of her families life and will be missed every day.

She is survived by her son Carey Todd Cain, daughter Frankie Whaley, son-in-law Terry Whaley, daughter Julie Whaley, son-in-law Tony Whaley. Grandkids Camille Schmidt, Koltin Schmidt, Celia Monroe, Chris Morris, Lujack Whaley, Taylor Whaley, Trace Whaley, Kamrin Gay, Tanya Olheiser and Tyler Olheiser. Her great-grand babies Daniel Stuart, Caleb Schmidt, Emma Schmidt, Tela Monroe, Milo Morris, Trey Olheiser and Charlie Olheiser. Her sister Beth and her husband LR and multiple nieces and nephews.
