1.1        PROPOSALS WILL BE RECEIVED

Sealed Proposals on forms prepared by the ENGINEER will be received by the Stephens County Rural Water No. 3 at 4:30 PM. (local time) on _February 10th, 2025, for the WELL GENERATORS for Stephens County Rural Water #3 in accordance with Drawings, Specifications and other Contract Documents prepared by:

1.2 PRESENTED TO STEPHENS RW#3 FOR REVIEW AND POSSIBLE ACTION 

At the  6;00 PM  on February 10th, 2025, at the monthly meeting at Stephens County Rural Water #3 179128 N 2820 Rd Comanche, Ok. 73529.

                 

1.3 OBTAINING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS

Specifications and other Contract Documents may be obtained upon application at the office of Fox, Drechsler & Brickley, Inc.  PO Box 758 Altus, Ok. 73522.

Pricing options for specifications are as follows:

 

• $100 for full printed set of specs and plan sheets

or

• $75 for digital pdf file of specs and printed copy of half size plan sheets

or

• $50 for full digital pdf file of specs and plan sheets

 

The payment shall be in check form and shall be drawn payable to Fox, Drechsler & Brickley, Inc. The payment amounts are non-refundable.  

1.4       PROPOSAL GUARANTY

Each Proposal shall be accompanied by an acceptable form of Proposal Guaranty in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of the Proposal payable to Stephens County Rural Water #3 as a guaranty that if the Proposal is accepted, the BIDDER will execute the Contract and file acceptable Performance and Statutory Bonds within 10 days after the award of the Contract. 

1.5  OWNERS RIGHTS RESERVED 

  Stephens County Rural Water No. 3 hereinafter called the OWNER, reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive any formality or technicality in any Proposal in the interest of the OWNER.

RESOLUTION 396-24

NOTICE OF ELECTION

CITY OF COMANCHE, OKLAHOMA

 

BE IT RESOLVED by the governing body of the City of Comanche that for the purpose of electing officers of said city that: A non-partisan general election, if needed, shall be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the filing period for electing officers of the City of Comanche shall begin 8:00 a.m. on Monday, February 3, 2025, and close Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the officers of the City of Comanche to be elected are nominated by ward and elected at large.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following officers will be elected with the designated terms: 

Councilmember Ward III and Councilmember Ward IV will be elected to fill an unexpired term ending the first Monday of May, 2027,

Councilmember Ward I and Councilmember Ward II will be elected to four (4) year terms to expire the first Monday of May, 2029.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that each candidate must be a qualified elector by virtue of being a resident and registered voter within the municipality, or in the ward if an office is from a ward, for at least six (6) months prior to filing a declaration of candidacy. 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that absentee ballots will be provided in accordance with State Law. 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Comanche City Limits include Precincts 690041, 690061, 690062, and 690063 in Stephens County and Precinct 340103 in Jefferson County.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that no persons reside in Precincts 690061, 690062, and 690063 in Stephens County and Precinct 340103 in Jefferson County that can vote in the municipal election on April 1, 2025 due to the annexation of 200 feet strips.

The Board of Education of the Comanche Public School District hereby provides legal notice that the annual school election filing period for candidates will open on Monday, Dec. 2, 2024 at 8 a.m. and will close on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2024, at 5 p.m.

Board Member Position on Ballot:

The voters shall elect a board member for board position No. 5, which has a five-year term of office ending in 2030.
