Presgrove death called 'suspicious'
Hundreds of family, classmates, teammates, friends and community members said goodbye to Noah Presgrove on Monday afternoon.
The 19-year-old was found dead alongside Highway 81 north of Terral in the early morning hours on Sept. 4.
People are still trying to figure out what exactly happened to the popular former athlete who had graduated in May. Initial reports suggested he had been the victim of a hit-and-run accident, but that may no longer be the case.
According to a report by KFOR on Monday, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has become involved and have ruled his death as “suspicious.” OSBI said it was waiting on a report from the medical examiners office to determine the next steps in the investigation.
The OSBI has not returned any phone calls or emails from the Comanche Times asking about the case.
Presgrove was remembered fondly for his laid back style, his athleticism, his sense of humor and his ability to make others feel like they belonged, at his funeral and the candlelight service held in his memory last Tuesday at the Comanche football field where hundreds also attended.
