Connie Annett ‘Burton’ Reyes

Connie was born on Jan. 13, 1969 to Calvin Burton, Sr. and the late Lorene Burton. She passed from this life on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020 peacefully in her sleep. A graveside funeral was held Monday, Dec. 28, 2020 at Fairlawn Cemetery Pavilion.

Connie enjoyed time spent with her children, grandchildren and family and friends. Being with her loved ones made her happy. She enjoyed her time with Faith Missions, working with horses on the Whisper of Hope Ranch and her time spent working at the humane society.

She is survived by her father, Calvin Burton, Sr. of Comanche; four sons, Nicholas Burton, Martin Jr. Reyes, Steffon Reyes and Noah Anderson; two daughters, Liliana Reyes and Breanna Repp; eight grandchildren: Danielle Reyes, Xavier Saiz, Naomi Burton, Kiesha Burton, Ariah Reyes, Paizlie Repp, Elisha Molz and Mason Anderson. She is also survived by one brother, Calvin Burton, Jr. and wife Donna Burton of Comanche and two sisters, Lisa Morgan of Comanche and Christine Harrison of Duncan; as well as her aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Connie was preceded in death by her mother, Lorene Carol Burton; grandparents Verner and Grace Gustafson, Johnie and Maxine Burton; aunt Betty Ausmus and cousin Chad Allen.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10: “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’”

Psalms 139:1: “I praise you Lord for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”

Pallbearers were Noah Henderson, Joshua Sullivan, Dalton Sullivan, Johnie Lee Burton, Thomas Burton, Kevin Allen and Keith Allen.

Honorary pallbearers were: Nicholas Burton, Martin Reyes Jr. and Andrew Ausmus.
