Comanche schools to offer free meals

Comanche Public Schools will be implementing a new option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for School Year 2024-2025.

All enrolled students are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to the student’s household each day of the 2024-2025 school year. No further action is required. Children will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit a meal application.

The district may require a separate form to be completed for funding purposes. This is not a meal application and eligibility cannot be determined by this form.
