Waurika city manager arrested on child sex abuse charges

Waurika city manager Charles Kyote Dunn was arrested  by special agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation last Thursday for possession and manufacture of child sex abuse material and loitering around residences to watch occupants.
According to an OSBI press release, on Jan. 8 the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office requested the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation to investigate a possible sex offense in Waurika.
Based on the information and evidence obtained, the suspect was identified as the 30-year-old  Dunn, who is also a reserve police officer for the Waurika Police Department.
On Jan. 11, OSBI special agents interviewed Dunn and served a search warrant at his residence, where they seized his electronic devices. During the comprehensive investigation, several child sexual abuse images were discovered.
On the afternoon of Oct. 17, Dunn was arrested by OSBI special agents in Duncan. The Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office charged Dunn with the one count of child pornography and four counts of using video equipment in a clandestine manner, according to court records. 
Dunn was booked into the Stephens County Jail.
