GED, computer classes coming to Comanche's Hope Center
January 09, 2025
Christian Helping Hands will be offering GED and computer classes beginning this month. Both classes are being taught at the Hope Center, 1008 S. 8th Street, Comanche, by Red River Technology Center.
The free GED class begins Jan. 8. Participants can come between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. for classroom instruction. The class will continue every Wednesday. Those who may arrive later during the allotted time are urged to call before coming to make sure the instructor is still available.
A computer class begins on Thursday, Jan. 16 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. There may be a small fee involved. Seats are limited so registration is required. The program will continue on Thursdays.
For more information on either program, call 580-439-6705.
Another program, Moms in Touch is a program where women come together to pray for the schools, staff, students and community from 8:15 a.m. to 9 a.m. every Monday. They meet at various locations. The rest of January includes Parlor Nutrition (Jan. 13) and The Hope Center (Jan. 20 and Jan. 27).
A healthy Stephens County requires great community news.
