Lawana Impson Clark

Billie Lawana Impson Clark, a longtime resident of Duncan, departed her earthly home and entered into her Heavenly Home on Feb. 15, 2025 in Arlington, Texas. She was 96 years old. A funeral service was held Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Comanche Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Mike Bates officiating, under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home. Interment followed at Fairlawn Cemetery.
Lawana was born May 14, 1928 in Duncan to Theadore R. and Valois (Paschall) Impson. In December of 1963, she and Joe Keith Clark were united in marriage in Fort Worth, Texas. Lawana was an excellent cook, and she was the best Mom, ever.
Survivors include her children: Tim Hancock and wife LaTressa, Donna Langford, Tammy Marie Clark, and Tracy Tucker; one brother, J.B. Impson and wife Tina; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Lawana was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joe; a son Teddy Frank Hancock; two brothers, Harold Impson and Wayne Impson; two granddaughters, Mary Lawana Hancock and Hannah Marie Graham.
