Larry Don Sullivan
April 07, 2025
Larry Don Sullivan was born on the 22nd day of June 1953, to Gearld (Jack) and Joyce Sullivan.
And he left this world on April 2, 2025, in Duncan.
Larry was Jack and Joyce’s oldest son and only had one brother, Terry Lee Sullivan, who passed
away in 2012. He married his high school sweetheart, Shari Harper, on his 20th birthday in 1973
and they were still sweethearts. Larry was pretty sure he was marrying into a family like the
Waltons because there were so many kids. Larry and Shari had two children, Joshua Kyle and Erin Kay, but that number grew with the addition of Bethany and Aaron, and the perfect grandchildren, Braylen, Faith, Joey, Molly, Matt and Vivi. He thought they might be a little spoiled but still so perfect.
Larry and Craig Ellis began a business they named Cornerstone Custom Builders in 1996 which
transtitioned into Sullivan Homes with Josh in 2011 and they built beautiful homes around the area.
Larry always said the people weren’t clients, they were friends — good friends. And Sullivan
Homes is still doing beautiful work. Building cabinets and finish work was Larry’s favorite part of the work. But getting to work alongside with Josh was the best part of it.
When he wasn’t working, Larry loved being at the golf course and played every chance he got. He always enjoyed playing with his brothers-in-law, Shane Harper and Billy Huff, and his father-in-law, Jim Harper, before his death, and lots and lots of other fellow golfers. And he loved having hamburgers on Saturday night at the Harper house, playing poker with the gang on Saturday night and couldn’t wait to go eat crawdads every Spring and go on road trips — even when he wasn’t always the choice driver.
Larry is survived by his wife, Shari, and his children: Joshua and Bethany and Erin Kay and Aaron, and those beautiful grandkids, Braylen, Faith, Joey, Molly, Matt and Vivi and the Harper family: Suzanne, Billy and Ginger, Jamie and Paula, Shane and Krista, Laurie and Steve and Dezire and Shannon and lots of nieces and nephews, including Shaunda and Bryan Collinsworth and Don and Wesley Sullivan and all of his cousins that he grew up with and shared so many memories.
A memorial service is being planned and information will be updated on it.
