EMPIRE - Empire put up a couple of runs early and Bryce Shaver did the rest on the mound in the Bulldogs’ 6-0 shutout of visiting Rush Springs.

Empire scored one run in the bottom of the first inning and then added another in the second for a 2-0 lead.
The Bulldogs then plated two in the third inning before Lipscomb put the final runs on the board with his blast in the fourth inning.
With the win, Empire improved to 8-8 on the season. They were scheduled to play at Big Pasture on Tuesday.
