John Charles Montgomery

John Charles Montgomery, a resident of Comanche, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025 at his home, at the age of 72.
He was born January 4, 1953 in Chickasha, OK  to William D. and Merle (Bowling) Montgomery.  He graduated from Davidson High School in 1971, and attended Oklahoma City University.  He played piano at the OCU School of Ballet,  and played the organ at the OCU Chapel.
John was preceded in death by his parents,  William and Merle Montgomery, one brother, Phil Montgomery, and his very close friend, Jeannie Allison.
Survivors include his cousins, Herley Bowling and wife Molly, Los Angeles; and Tim Bowling and wife Carol, Durwood, Md.; and his many dear friends at Comanche First United Methodist Church.
The funeral service  will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 2 p.m. at the Comanche Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Kevin McKinley officiating. Burial is at Fairlawn Cemetery.
