Linda Gay Clinkenbeard Moore

 Linda Gay Clinkenbeard Moore, of Duncan,  peacefully passed away on Sunday evening, May 4, 2025 at her home.  She was 82 years old.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 7th at 2:00 p.m. at Comanche First Baptist Church.  Interment will follow at Duncan City Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 4:30-6:00 p.m and Wednesday 9:00 a.m. until noon. at the Comanche Funeral Home.
Linda was born June 9, 1942 in Ada, OK to Delbert and Bernie (Morris) Brazeal.  She was a 1960 graduate of Duncan High School, and later a graduate of Central State University.   Linda was an active volunteer for many years at Duncan Regional Hospital.  In her younger days she enjoyed playing the piano.  Linda also loved to read, and do yardwork.  More than anything else, she loved her family, and especially cherished spending time with them during all the holidays.  She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son Greg Clinkenbeard and wife Kristin, Comanche; a daughter, Gaylyn Medlin and husband Case, Paradise, Texas;  one brother, Don Brazeal, Oklahoma City, OK;  six grandchildren:  Jade Baker and husband Josh, Duncan; Chance Clinkenbeard, Durham, N.C.; Trey Clinkenbeard and wife Jessica, Comanche; Kale Clinkenbeard, Comanche; Austin Medlin, Bloomington, Ind.; and Lynsey Medlin,  Wichita Falls, Texas; also three great-grandchildren, Harper and Boomer Clinkenbeard, and Suede Clinkenbeard; one nephew, Ross Brazeal. Also, her former husband Newt Moore, as well an many other relatives and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert and Bernie; her son, Jeff Clinkenbeard; and former husband Joe Clinkenbeard.
Serving as pallbearers will be Trey Clinkenbeard, Kale Clinkenbeard, Josh Baker, Austin Medlin, Ross Brazeal, Case Medlin, and Chance Clinkenbeard.   Honorary bearers will be staff at Chisholm Trail Assisted Living, and nurses and caregivers from Chisholm  Trail Hospice.
Memorial contributions may be made to Duncan Regional Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary or Charis Crisis Center.
