Shirley Mae Scott

Shirley Mae Scott, a resident of Norman, OK, entered into her Eternal Home on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at her home.  She was 79 years old.  A funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, July 8th at 11:00 a.m. at the Comanche Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, north of Comanche.  Viewing will be Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Shirley was born February 28, 1946 in the Panama Canal Zone, to John Ryan and Ruby Bundsen . She later graduated from Lawton High School.  Shirley loved her first job at Kress, Charlies Drive In, Sheridan Bank, Goodyear, Lawton Cable, then she went to work at Salvation Army, where she retired in 2009. She loved giving, shopping, especially going to garage sales.  She loved to collect figurines.  On April 3, 2008 she and Wayne Scott were united in marriage in Oklahoma City, OK. She was a member of the WMU at First Baptist Church West in Lawton, and also First Baptist Church in Noble.  She was a member of the Junior Civics League in Lawton, and a member of the Peacemakers Quilting Group at First Baptist Church Noble
Survivors include her husband Willard W. Scott, of the home; step mother, Pat Ryan; children: David W. Squyers and wife Cindy; Ashley A. Landers and husband Tony; Lisa M. Wyant; Marcus A. Wyant and wife Aleida; Benjamin D Scott and wife Krystal; and LaWayne Collins; one sister, Sybil Cook and husband Ambrose; numerous grandchildren, and one great grandchild, and a soon to be born great grandchild.
 She was preceded in death by her parents, John  and Ruby; and  two brothers: John Dickey and Luther Dickey.
 Pallbearers will be Ambrose Cook, David Squyers, Tony Landers, Austin Wyant, and Marcus Wyant.
