Comanche Masonic Lodge #41 presented the Warrior Journey martial arts class with a check for $800 to assist with the purchase of much-needed equipment. The class is run by Keith and Donna Hampton. The class is designed to teach self-defence and self-control. The classes are held every Friday night a 7 p.m. at the Patterson Avenue Baptist Church gym. Pictured (left to right): first row - Keith Hampton (instructor), Billy Hunt and Eli Greer; middle row - Donna Hampton, Cera Hayne and Krissy Torres; back row - Donald Hill (Lodge Secretary), Ross Corell, Johnathon Blanton, Jamon Kelly (Lodge Jr. Warden) Harris Powers (Lodge Chaplain) and Bill Greer (Lodge Worshipful Master). The Lodge will also be working with the group to host a spaghetti dinner fundriaser to be held Sept 26 at the Asbury Complex starting at 6 p.m. Tickets are available at the door. The Lodge will be matching up to $5,000 on the fundraiser.
