Yvette Lou Skeen
Yvette Lou Skeen, a lifelong resident of Comanche and Loco passed away unexpectedly on Monday afternoon, July 12, 2021 at her home north of Comanche. She was 65 years old. A graveside funeral service was held on July 15 at Dixie Cemetery, under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home.
Yvette was born May 19, 1956 in Phoenix, Ariz. to Billy and Betty Lou (Starnes) Skeen. She loved to go to the lake, reading her Bible, and doing things with her family. She had a big heart, and loved everyone, including her dog, Taz.
Survivors include her son, Michael Skeen, Comanche; her mother, Betty Skeen, Comanche; her siblings: Gayle Womack, Comanche; Patsy Ellis, Comanche; Elmer Skeen and wife Annette, Comanche; Donna Sherrill and husband Rocky, Comanche; and Stacy Skeen, Comanche. Four nieces, who she thought of as daughters: Shannon Reynolds, Shy-Ann Skeen, Shaylynn Skeen, and Shana Skeen; also numerous other nieces, nephews, and other relatives and dear friends.
Yvette was preceded in death by her father, Billy Skeen; a nephew Eddie Harris; her grandparents, and many other family members.
