2021 Beautifully Broken Conference offers hope

September 08, 2021

The 2021 Beautifully Broken Conference for girls and women of all ages will be an all-day event this year. Sponsored by Mullins Baptist Association and hosted by the Women’s Ministry of Comanche First Baptist Church (FBC), the conference will be from 10 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 25 at FBC, 315 W. Oak Main in Comanche.
This year’s featured speaker, Sonya Brunner, returns for her second conference in Comanche. A music teacher and pastor’s wife, she hosts a blog called “Fifty Shades of Grace.” As a 5-year-old child, Sonya was trafficked by her mother and rescued at the age of 12; she has an awesome testimony of how Jesus has worked in her life.

Music will be provided by Laura Beasley and LeAnna Hall, with four breakout sessions scheduled:

*Laura Perry and Laura Standlake leading “Homosexuality and Transgender;”

*Kimberla Treat leading “Character and Godly Modesty;”

*Stephanie Rosekelly leading “Hygiene and How to Take Care of Yourself;” and

*”Self-guided Reflection and Prayer.”

Cost for the event is $15 before Sept. 10 and $20 after that date. Cost includes a tee shirt, coffee bar, snacks, lunch and dinner; tee shirts will not be available for registrations at the door. More information and online registration is through the church’s website at comanchefirst.com, or call 580-439-5335 or 580-695-2485 to learn more.
