Joshua "Cam" Camuel Edgar

Joshua “Cam” Camuel Edgar was born May 1, 1990 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Carla Janell (Moeller) and John Patrick Edgar, Jr. He met Jesus on Friday, October 1, 2021, at his home in Comanche. He was 31.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, October 7, 5:00-7:00P.M. at Whitt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 8, at 2:00P.M. at New Hope Baptist Church West with Pastor Randy Southerland officiating. If attending in person, the family requests that masks be worn. Live streaming will be available at youtube.com/newhopeduncan. Serving as pallbearers will be Tyson Wilson, Justin Gray, Joe Roberts, Stevie Myers, James Nash and Kevin Townsend. Interment will follow at Addington, Oklahoma Cemetery under the direction of Whitt Funeral Home.

Cam graduated from Comanche High School and then attended Cameron University. While in high school he participated in football, baseball and track. He married Molly Alyssa O’Kelley on August 3, 2013. To their union, two children – daughter Alexis and son Hudson – were born.

He loved being outdoors and going hunting and fishing, especially fishing with his dad in Louisiana. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and family, riding 4-wheelers, and going to Westcliffe, Colorado. Cam loved sports and was a big fan of both OU and the Dallas Cowboys. He loved cop reality shows and shows about Bigfoot – he loved telling stories about catching Mr. Biggie with his granddad. He loved to laugh and make others laugh. He was a member of New Hope Baptist West Church. Most of all, Cam loved his family dearly.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: John Edgar, Pauline Edgar, Carl Moeller and Martha Moeller.

Cam is survived by his wife, Molly; children: Alexis and Hudson; parents: John and Carla Edgar; sister: Ashley and Garrett Walter; aunts: Susan and Dan Mitchell, Sandy and Robert Knoll; uncles: CJ and Kim Moeller, Mickey Moeller; mother- and father-in-law: Chris and Carla O’Kelley; brothers-in-law: Ryan O’Kelley, Kevin O’Kelley; sisters-in-law: Mallory and Chance Winslett, Claire and Kyle Ellis; nieces: Maddie Whitehead, Liliana O’Kelley, Hannah Winslett, Paysley Walter; nephews: Hayden Winslett, Denver Walter; numerous cousins; and a host of friends.
