Fall Fest revving up as event draws near

The annual Comanche Ag Booster Fall Fest is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 30 in downtown Comanche.

Organizers are promising fun, food, games and crafts at this year’s event, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There will be a cornhole tournament and the costume contest will be at 4 p.m., followed by trick or treating on Main Street.

An antique tractor show is scheduled and a car show sponsored by the Comanche Police Reserves will be held. Registration for the car show begins at 8 a.m. All entrants must be registered and parked by 10 a.m. Awards will be given at 2 p.m. The registration fee is $20.

Show classes for the car show include truck, RatRod, classic, new car, custom and motorcycle.

First and second-place awards will be given for Best in Show in all classes. There will be a prize packet raffle with tickets $1 each or 12 for $10.
