Track has success at Davis

The Comanche High School track team picked up a couple of top finishes in a track meet at Davis last Friday.

Logan Bain and Brycen Lassley both secured first place wins at the meet.

Bain won first in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.56 seconds. He also was second in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of of 42.0.

Lassley took first in the 3200 meters with a time of 10:53.

In other boys’ action, Noah Presgrove took fourth in the high jump at 5-08 and took sixth in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 45.0.

On the girls’ side, Jaylee Miller finished fourth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:43, while teammate Brilee Combs was fifth with a time of 2:44.

Combs placed third in the 1600 meters.

Alayna Nichols was sixth in shot put with a throw of 33-06.

The girls 400-meter relay team finished sixth with a time of 55 seconds.
