Wheeler running for associate judge
Constitutional advocate, community volunteer, and local attorney Lawrence Wheeler is running for Associate District Judge representing all of Stephens County.
“I love Stephens County and serving our community. I’ll stand tall for our constitutional rights, the safety of our families and our values. I’d be honored with your trust and vote,” Wheeler said.
Lawrence has worked as an attorney in Duncan for a decade. However, he is most passionate about serving the community via Kiwanis (where he helps operate Kiddieland), Rotary (where he assists with the Christmas Clothing Drive), volunteering with the Beautiful Day Foundation and serving on the Board of Directors for both the Gabriel’s House Foundation as well as the Simmons Center. Additionally, Lawrence has taken on over 100 court-appointed child welfare and adult protective services cases, providing a voice for children and families with no advocate.
Lawrence and his wife Kenzie met in 2008 and have two school-aged daughters Evelyn and Emilia. Lawrence has already earned the endorsements of Mayor Ritchie Dennington, Dr. Stacie Elfrink, Dr. Lance Minson, and Natalie Pettijohn in addition to other community advocates.
