Patsy Lee "Patty" Ellis

Patsy Lee “Patty” Ellis, age 69, a resident of Comanche, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2024 at her home in Comanche. The family will be holding a celebration of her life on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the home of her sister, Gayle Womack. They will then travel to Dixie Cemetery, east of Loco, to inter her cremains.
Patsy was born May 5, 1955 in Ringling to Billy Ray and Betty Lou (Starnes) Skeen. In her younger days, Patty loved the “lake life” spending many hours there with family and friends. She loved crafting, and also loved shopping!
Survivors include her two children: Ritchie Shannon and wife Kelly, Comanche; Amber Hicks and husband Joe, Blanchard; four siblings, Gayle Womack, Comanche; Elmer Skeen and wife Annette, Duncan; Donna Sherrill and husband Rocky, Comanche; and Stacy Skeen, Comanche; seven grandchildren: Alexis Campbell, Garrett Shannon, Aubrey Carlson, Ryan Hicks, Colby Shannon, Lynnlee Shannon, and Ashtyn Hicks; and one great-grandchild, Hilton Campbell.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Betty Skeen; a sister, Yvette Skeen, and a nephew, Eddie Harris.
