Solis named new art instructor at Comanche

Comanche Public Schools would like to welcome Krystal Solis to Comanche High School and Middle School as an adjunct Art Instructor.
Krystal Solis is very excited to be a part of the educational staff of Comanche High School. She is a proud alumnus of Comanche High and is thrilled to be back and share her knowledge of the arts with the next generation.
“For this school year I would like to achieve for each student, a strong foundation of the principles and elements of art,” Solis said. “To understand these principles of art is to understand the logic and design of the world around us; having a deeper understanding of what we see every day. Educating the youth in art history is relevant to our government’s history. Art is the visual documentation of the human experience of that time: a personal narrative. I take much of my teaching style from my own mentors as well as key components of my personal experiences in pursuing the professional world of the Arts. Once again, I am tremendously excited to share my skills back into the town that nurtured me with the passion I have today.”
Superintendent Julie Bills made the announcement following the July board meeting.
“Ms. Solis has a strong background, an impressive portfolio, and a Comanche connection. I am excited to see her share her talents with the Comanche family,” Bills said.
