Successful day for track

The Comanche boys’ track team had a successful meet at Purcell on April 2 with eight top-six finishes in the contest.
The Indians were led by a pair of first-place finishes by Makisig Rogers in the 110-meter hurdles (16.03 seconds) and 300-meter hurdles (44.35 seconds). Brycen Lassley also picked up a first-place win in the 3200-meter run (10:59).
Corbin Bowen picked up a third-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles (16.73 seconds), Colby Shannon was fifth in the long jump (17-11 feet) and Erik Roy was sixth in the 300-meter hurdles (49.27). The 400-meter relay team finished third and the mile relay team finished second.
On the girls’ side, Brilee Combs finished fifth in the 1600 meters (6:18).
