Comanche prepares for parade's return

A homecoming parade is making its way back to Comanche this Thursday.

Each high school class is doing a large float on a flatbed trailer. Other organizations/teams are doing smaller trucks/ATV/vehicles.

Students may choose which float they ride or walk with.

The homecoming queen candidates are riding together in a vehicle and will have signs made for them.

Each class is being allowed time to work on their floats Thursday after lunch in the high school parking lot. Only the class floats will be given the chance to win.

Line up will be at 6 p.m. at Comanche Seed and Grain. The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. and proceed down Oak Main.

The parade will end back at the school with a bonfire in the Field of Dreams parking lot. This is a new tradition that the school will hope to continue.
