Faulk named to OMAG training program

December 21, 2023

Comanche police chief Cory Faulk was one of 30 law enforcement officers statewide selected to participate in the OMAG Law Enforcement Liability Avoidance (LELA) Training Series Program. Approximately 84 law enforcement professionals had applied for one of the 30 spots.

The LELA Training Series is an intensive training series being offered by OMAG, a municipal insurance company, starting Jan. 17, 2024.

The training will provide CLEET accredited, in-depth training on common and emerging legal issues facing Oklahoma law enforcement officers.

Each applicant was required to complete an application, answer essay-like questions, obtain a commitment to attending all classes, and commit to completing assignments prior to each session. The program concludes March 20, 2024.

The program is free with OMAG covering expenses.

Faulk is the only officer from Stephens County who will participate in the program.
